At Distinctive Directions, our goal is to provide peace of mind to our clients on the day of their special event by providing a detailed map and directions to ensure guests arrive promptly and successfully. All of our map designs are custom designed and tailored to the client’s vision. We believe "custom design" is truly that... each map is created from start to finish with the client's inspiration in mind. We work one on one with our clients to ensure their completed map design is truly distinctive.
Distinctive Directions was created in 2006 by our Founder & Creative Director, Amanda Alvarado. Amanda has always had a passion for design, whether it be interior, structural, or graphic design. She has an amazing ability to turn an image in her mind into reality; an ability that wasn't fully discovered until she began planning her own wedding. After designing the wedding map for her wedding invitations, she was sought out by friends, family, co-workers and strangers to design their personalized maps. As time went on, demand grew way beyond the nation to areas such as Canada, England, and Ireland. And thus, Distinctive Directions was born.
Since 2006, Distinctive Directions has grown to a team of designers with extensive experience designing maps for a wide variety of locations. We have become many Invitation & Stationary Companies' preferred designers for their custom map designs.
